Dragon Fanny Pack
They always say a dragon’s belly is its weak spot—but not for you! Look fierce with this vintage-inspired fanny pack.
Illustrations of fantastical creatures were often featured in encyclopedic works of the 1600-1700s, like the ones in our Research Library. As people were learning about the animals and plants found throughout the world, illustrations of dragons existed in the same pages alongside realistic horses, oxen, snakes, birds, and many other common animals. Earlier writings suggested the existence of these fanciful animals, and those mistaken ideas were simply replicated in these encyclopedic works.
