Beavertail Cactus Eco Tote

$37.99
The typical American uses more than 300 plastic bags each year. Cut down on waste and look good doing it with this eco-tote featuring a gorgeous watercolor painting from our collection.
A beavertail cactus (Opuntia basilaris) painted by botanical artist A.R. Valentien adorns this 100% organic cotton twill tote bag. In 1908, local philanthropist Ellen Browning Scripps commissioned Valentien to illustrate the botanical diversity of California. Over the next 10 years, he produced nearly 1,100 watercolor plant portraits of native wildflowers, grasses, ferns, trees, and cacti. The entire collection is now housed in The Nat’s Research Library.
This roomy bag fits groceries, books, and so much more. It measures 16″ × 14 ½″ × 5″ and carries up to 30 lbs.
