Wolf’s Cholla Enamel Mug
$19.99
Lightweight and durable, the enamel mug is a must-have for every devoted camper. Use it for your favorite beverage or a hot meal, and attach it to your bag for easy access on a hike. Ours is white with a silver rim and features Wolf’s cholla (Cylindropuntia wolfii) painted by botanical artist A.R. Valentien. This is just one of the artist’s nearly 1,100 wildflower paintings in The Nat’s special collection.
This rare cactus is characterized by extremely variable flower color, with beautiful blooms ranging from yellow to deep maroon, and all shades in between. The flowers have red filaments. The Wolf’s cholla has a very limited distribution, as it only occurs in southern San Diego County and extreme northern Baja California.
The mug is metal with an enamel layer and sublimation coating. Measures 3.14″ high x 3.25″ diameter. Not dishwasher or microwave safe (do not heat liquids or food directly in the mug—it can damage the coating). Hand-wash only.
