Coast Prickly-Pear Enamel Mug

Lightweight and durable, the enamel mug is a must-have for every devoted camper. Use it for your favorite beverage or a hot meal, and attach it to your bag for easy access on a hike. Ours is white with a silver rim and features a coast prickly-pear (Opuntia littoralis) painted by botanical artist A.R. Valentien. This is just one of the artist’s nearly 1,100 wildflower paintings in The Nat’s special collection. The sprawling prickly-pear is found in the coastal sage scrub and chaparral. Its juicy red-purple fruits are edible once the spines are removed.

The mug is metal with an enamel layer and sublimation coating. Measures 3.14″ high x 3.25″ diameter. Not dishwasher or microwave safe (do not heat liquids or food directly in the mug—it can damage the coating). Hand-wash only.
